Support the petition to save ASP
Originally sent: February 23, 2007We are adding our support to a government petition to scrap the proposed tax changes to Alternatively Secured Pensions (ASPs). Under new rules announced in the Pre-Budget Report, transfer lump sum death benefits will be unauthorised and attract payment charges of up to 70%. Combined with IHT, the tax charged could be even higher.
