According to ?Passing the Baton?, a report commissioned by the DTI, 30% of business closures are the result of viable firms which close simply because there is no suitable successor. Add to that a further statistic in the same report ? up to 95% of family businesses fail to survive to the third generation.
Do you want your clients to be a part of these statistics? Or would you rather help them find an appropriate solution?
If you know everything you feel you will ever need to know about exit route planning, and believe you can guide your clients through the maze to a successful exit without any further study or preparation, congratulations! You are one of a rare breed of financial advisers who have not only recognised the problem but have fully addressed it. Make sure you maintain this superior position, and keep abreast of this rapidly changing area. And make sure you continue to address it as your number one priority with all your corporate clients.
However, if you feel you could do with a refresher in this crucial area of corporate financial planning, ring one of our in house coaches now and book yourself a place on the Corporate Exit Route Strategies focussed training day, on 7th June 2005.
Make sure you block that day out in your diary so you do not miss this opportunity to refresh your technical knowledge in a way that will enhance your sales skills.
